Kevin is the President and CEO of Lucina Health. Lucina is focused on helping health plans to improve outcomes associated with high risk maternity. The Company launched 2 years ago with the support of Chrysalis Ventures, Arboretum Ventures, and the Kresge Foundation. Kevin has over 25 years of healthcare management experience as senior executive, CEO, and entrepreneur. Kevin was most recently the President and CEO of MedVenture Technology through the sale of the Company in 2012, He is the past executive director for Community Medical Associates and the executive director of the Heart Spine and Neuroscience divisions for Norton Healthcare.
Chief Financial Officer
Brian brings a combination of healthcare data and reimbursement experience to Lucina’s growing enterprise. His career includes a demonstrated history of creating and building new and cost-effective service lines.
Prior to joining Lucina Health, Brian served as Vice President of Data Mining and Audit for Equian, a healthcare reimbursement analysis and payment integrity company. That included orchestrating analytics, client installations, and operational process improvement for inpatient chart audit operations.
Senior Director Data and Analytics
With 25+ years in the healthcare industry, Lori has extensive experience in data analytics, process analysis, system development, data mining and reporting. She’s a seasoned executive that’s led company wide systems management and redesigns in nearly all areas of data analytics. She’s held positions at Humana, Price Waterhouse Coopers and the Rawlings Group.
Lori holds a master’s degree in management information systems from the University of Central Florida and a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of Louisville.
Senior Director of Infrastructure and Compliance
Rey serves as Lucina’s Director of Infrastructure and Compliance. He has more than 23 years of cross- blended IT operational, IT security and compliance experience. Rey has worked in the healthcare, banking and supply chain industries.
Manager, Data Analytics
Corey has 14 years of healthcare experience (focused in Coordination of Benefits Auditing and Data Logistics), and in particular has extensive background in trend analysis, root cause analysis, anomaly detection and query development. Most recently, Corey was a Logistics Analyst for The Rawlings Group, a healthcare recovery services provider to many of the nation’s largest insurance companies. Corey was previously a Subject Matter Expert at Humana for the Puerto Rico Medicare Correspondence and Claims Processing Unit.
